Trolltek Lithium Batteries, Battery Chargers & Accessories
Trolltek focuses on low-voltage power and marine/off-grid equipment, with LiFePO4 lithium batteries at the centre of the range. Battery options cover multiple system voltages and include Bluetooth BMS monitoring, while charging products include 240V AC chargers, DC/DC chargers, voltage-sensitive relays, voltage converters and solar charging equipment. The wider range also includes electrical installation accessories and selected marine products such as pumps and related hardware. The important advantage of choosing from one system-focused range is compatibility planning: battery voltage, charging method, current capability, cable size and protection can be considered together instead of purchasing unrelated components one at a time. Product specifications still need to be checked for the individual application.
Begin with the loads, not the battery. List the equipment you need to run, its voltage, maximum current and estimated hours of use per day. From that you can choose the system voltage and battery capacity. Next decide how the battery will be recharged—240V mains, alternator or outboard through DC/DC charging, solar, or a combination. Only then select cable size, fuses, connectors, isolation and mounting hardware. This order prevents common mistakes such as buying a large battery that cannot be charged efficiently or selecting a charger that overwhelms the alternator. For marine or mobile installations, also consider vibration, water exposure, corrosion and physical battery restraint before finalising the component list.
Many Trolltek products are designed specifically with mobile, marine and off-grid applications in mind, but suitability should be confirmed at model level. A component used successfully in a dry caravan locker may have different environmental requirements from one installed in an exposed boat compartment. Check battery enclosure rating, charger protection, allowable temperature, voltage and current specifications and the mounting instructions for the individual product. Marine installations should pay particular attention to salt corrosion and secure cable support, while 4WD and trailer systems must tolerate vibration and shock. Off-grid installations need adequate charging capacity for expected loads and poor-weather periods. Selecting components by application as well as electrical rating produces a much more reliable system.
Check four things: voltage, current, charging profile and connection method. Nominal voltage must suit the device or battery being connected. The current rating of every cable, fuse, connector, switch and charger must be adequate for the maximum expected load. For charging equipment, the output profile must also be appropriate for LiFePO4 and for the specific battery bank voltage. Finally, confirm terminals and connectors are suitable for the cable size and environment. Do not assume products are compatible simply because they are both 12V; a 12V accessory drawing 5A has very different requirements from a high-current inverter or charging circuit. The Trolltek product specifications and manuals should be used together when planning a complete system.
Record the existing battery voltage and capacity, charger model, cable sizes, fuse ratings, connector types and the maximum loads connected to the system. Measure the available space and note cable-route lengths because physical installation can determine which battery or charger is practical. For alternator or outboard charging, identify the available charging output rather than assuming any DC/DC charger can be supported. If replacing lead-acid with lithium, check every charging source for LiFePO4 suitability. Photographs of the battery compartment, wiring and equipment labels are useful when seeking advice. A few measurements made before ordering can prevent problems such as incompatible connectors, insufficient cable capacity or a battery that fits the tray but leaves no room for safe cable bends.
One of the best battery systems on earth
New Trolltek battery is working great. A much needed upgrade to my boat for the trolling motor. Battery life is far greater than my old deep cycle battery
As described and fast delivery. Time will tell if it's a quality unit but so far so good. Pressure and flow is adequate for washing down a small Quintrex.
Just received my 24v bundle and super happy with the service. Easy instructions and free delivery.
Works as described. Not many 48V chargers like this on the market. Order arrived in 2 days. Would have preferred authority to leave as I can't take deliveries when Im at work. Otherwise 5 star product.
Havent had the chance to use the battery yet as im still installing my trolling motor but it seems like a good bit of kit and i really like the app side of it too just make sure you have the room they are pretty big
unreal.
Trolltek™ DC Voltage Converters
Quality looking charger mounted up nice in front compartment of boat works perfectly on my 100ah trolling motor battery. Trollteks dispatch and freight was amazing ordered one afternoon and had it next day at lunchtime Thankyou
200ah 24v battery absolute ripper. Lighter than two 12v batteries of same ah. Safety and reliability on the water
Only used the battery a few times now but it works well. The Bluetooth app is easy to use and the 24v Batt charger is solid. Service was speedy and the packaging was great. Very happy so far
Delivered within 24 hours and a great product at a great price.
I had to return 2 KickAss LiFePO4 batteries due to various issues. This Trolltek battery does what it's meant to do. The Bluetooth interface is simple and you can remotely turn off/on charging and discharging. I have ran it for three cycles so far (using it in my ute to run a fridge and compressor) and am very happy with it.
Jack was perfect for a relative novice such as myself. I repeatedly emailed seeking clarification and advice. He had every reason to be frustrated with me but he was patient, friendly and and used minimal industry jargon which is exactly what I needed.
Thanks Jack
New Trolltek battery is extreamley light compared to my old deep cycle battery. Runs my Minkota electric motor all day on about 20% of the batteries charge, and love the blutooth conectivity of the unit.
